The world is astounded when Willy Wonka, for years a recluse in his factory, announces that five lucky people will be given a tour of the factory, shown all the secrets of his amazing candy, and one will win a lifetime supply of Wonka chocolate. Nobody wants the prize more than young Charlie, but as his family is so poor that buying even one bar of chocolate is a treat, buying enough bars to find one of the five golden tickets is unlikely in the extreme. But in movieland, magic can happen. Charlie, along with four somewhat odious other children, get the chance of a lifetime and a tour of the factory. Along the way, mild disasters befall each of the odious children, but can Charlie beat the odds and grab the brass ring?

This movie was shot in Munich, Germany, but the producers had to go outside of Germany to recruit enough little people to play the Oompa Loompas (one of the many tragic legacies of the Nazi era). Many of the people cast as Oompa Loompas (German or otherwise) did not speak English fluently, if at all. This is why some appear to not know the words to songs during the musical numbers.
Continuity: When Verruca Salt goes into the factory she is wearing white tights. When she's singing her song near the end of the film and she's about to go down the garbage chute, she is not wearing tights.

Diálogos marcantes

Willy Wonka: Don't you know what this is?
Violet Beauregarde: By gum, it's gum.
Willy Wonka: [happily, but sarcastically] Wrong! It's the most amazing, fabulous, sensational gum in the whole world.
Violet Beauregarde: What's so fab about it?
Willy Wonka: This little piece of gum is a three-course dinner.
Mr. Salt: Bull.
Willy Wonka: No, roast beef. But I haven't got it quite right yet.

Willy Wonka: Little surprises around every corner, but nothing dangerous.

Willy Wonka: No other factory in the world mixes its chocolate by waterfall.
[gently whispering in Mr. Salt's ear]
Willy Wonka: But it's the only way if you want it just right.

Um comentário:

  1. Quando criança eu tinha medo desse filme. Achava o Willy Wonka muito misterioso.
A segunda versão é bem mais cheia de efeitos, mais ainda prefiro a primeira!!
